Medusa

Ink/Ink Wash
12"x20"

Chironex fleckeri, or Box Jellyfish
. I've wanted to draw a jellyfish for a long time now, but unfortunately, as is always the case, this is not entirely what I had envisioned. Regardless, I still believe this is a fairly compotent peice that holds it's own.

Old Work

- Ink wash
I made this about a year ago for my illustration class. Really, I think it's the only thing I've made for school that I particularly like (A bit of a shame.) It's supposed to represent the difficulties for non-white foreigners to acquire Visas, and therefore attain legal allowance into the United States.

First Week

A week has passed now, and unfortunately I have nothing new to post. My pig is nearly done, though I can't decide what kind of background I would like to give it. Hopefully I'll have more to share soon..

-update-
It's July 24th now and I still can't decide what the background should be. >=[

Pig - Unfinished

- Ink and Colored Pencils
Originally a half assed idea/experiment, I've been working on this for the past few days.
I've never used a black colored pencil to render my drawings before, but after viewing some examples online, I felt I had to give it a try. I really like the way it's coming along, and I think I'll be using this technique again in the near future.

Post 1

I created this blog for the purpose of having all of my art in one convenient place, but also with the hope that it'll encourage me to keep up with my [soon to be] portfolio. Mostly for my benefit, I'll be gradually posting sketches, drawings, finished projects, and I suppose anything else that I feel is necessary. Exciting, huh? That is to say, if all goes as planned, which may or may not happen, depending on how enthused I feel about this.
